Huh..finally continuing...Top 5 Tabs this week.

So, huh! Exams finally over today. So, I decided to continue by tech blog again.....and what's more? Im adding a few more pages and maybe some flash features....
For now, I'll be telling you more about technical devices and now gaming also. And here are the top five TABS of this week, according to Technoholik (only ranking copied, reviews are original).

1. Apple iPad 2: (from Rs. 29,500)
Apple has always been on the top and here is another of the numerous examples, "the Tab that started it all"'s next-gen version. The iOS polishes the build quality and the major power boost, the most responsive touch screen out there and moreover the gigantic App Store.


2. Asus Eee Pad Transformer : (w/keyboard from Rs. 32,999)
It has a detachable keyboard (for those who do real hard typing), faster processor (for gamers) and Android 3.1 (for android fanboys). Hey, what else do you want??? Only the lack of enough battery life and the shortage of Apps as compared to the iPad 2, its pushed to 2nd rank.


3. Asus Eee Pad Slider : Rs. 36,999 (on sale in November)


Asus manages to reserve two slots in the ranking. The reason is the Asus Eee Pad Slider. Not really much differences, but yeah, not a detachable keyboard like the transformer which pushes it to 3rd postion. Other Features include Honeycomb and some 1Ghz (app.) processor.




4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 : Rs. 36,200
Rejoice! There is no longer any need to ship this wonderful beast from US. It is a perfect match of Honeycomb, 1Ghz processor, and a lovely display. Just the lack of Honeycomb in killer apps lets it down. :(




5. Motorola Xoom 3G : Rs. 41,490
Motorola brings its new tab in! The first tab to run Honeycomd give iPad a bloody nose thanks to its built in HDMI and SD ports. High price, low rank :(

Bold 9900 Touch to be release before US in India!

If you are a BlackBerry fan eagerly waiting for their latest handset, then here comes some great news. Research In Motion (RIM) has confirmed that their latest flagship smartphone will hit the Indian stores in the second week of August. Just after the launch of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (You must watch that stuff!).

This smartphone runs the new BlackBerry OS 7, it is RIM's thinnest Blackberry smartphone yet, and sports 1.2 GHz processor, 2.8-inch VGA resolution capacitive touchscreen display, NFC support, 5 megapixel camera, and 8GB of onboard storage. Apparently the device will launch in the Indian market even before it hits the UK (OH YEAH!). iGyann reports that it would be priced at 32,500 INR.

While the best paid for apps can be found on iOS, Android serves up a larger number of free or ad-supported apps. Here's a look at ten of them that are worth installing on your Android phone. All these games are lightweight and geared at the casual gamer, and should run on most entry-level Android phones. 

Jewels

Jewels is a clone of Bejeweled, a puzzle game where you group three or more gems of the same colour to start a collapsible domino. The game's mechanics translate well on a touchscreen, the graphics and sounds are well done. The game has four modes - Normal, Timed, Quick, and Infinite. Jewels is free, but ad-supported, with a tiny ad running at the bottom. Totally worth a have.
